Planning Hispanic Heritage Month?
Hispanic Heritage Month is our busiest season — and the dates schools want (especially the weeks of September 15 through October 15) go first. If you're an activities coordinator, PTA volunteer, or teacher planning this year's celebration, summer and early fall are the time to lock in your assembly.
A folklorico assembly turns Hispanic Heritage Month from a bulletin board into an experience: students see the dances their classmates' families grew up with and feel the color and rhythm up close — and, if you'd like, hear where each one comes from and even learn a few steps themselves.

- Traditional dances in authentic costumes — a colorful tour through the regions of Mexico, from the ribboned skirts of Jalisco to the white lace of Veracruz and the fast zapateado of the north. If your school has a favorite dance or theme, tell us — we'll do our best to include it.
- The stories behind the dances, if you'd like them — on request, we'll add short, age-appropriate context about the regions and traditions behind what students are watching.
- Interactive dance lesson, on request — if you'd like it, students learn real steps and dance along; teachers have been known to join in.
- Flexible formats — full-school assemblies, grade-level sessions, or festival performances; we adjust to your bell schedule.
- In person or virtual — we travel to schools across Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire, and Orange County, and offer virtual programs anywhere.
